In addition, the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 sits on the BreckConnect gondola route at the Peak 7 turn station, which provides direct access to Peak 8 as well as to historic downtown Breckenridge.
Breckenridge Ski Resort typically opens on the second Friday in November, with Peak 8 being the first section of the ski area to open, followed by Peak 9. Peak 7, which is where the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is located, usually opens by December. The opening of each peak depends on varying weather factors such as snow conditions and temperatures.

Ski lockers are located on the first floor at the north end of the south building.
